I think you mean the coconut palm that has no Back to the Philippines written on it? The headers are assigned for posts, first page, and other pages. Maybe that's why you saw another header?

Mine, too. I checked out 'PinoyB' and his site is everything I want my site to look like [in my dreams], which is a complete impossibility. Must be the color among all else.

Did you change the theme? I seem to land on the 'coconut palm' one sometimes.

Thanks Karlo. Just also wanted to commend you for an excellent blog: PinoyBlogero standsout pretty much among those I've seen so far. The layout is clean, well thought out, it has cool graphics and articles are well-written. It's what my blog wants to be when it grows up ;-)

I'm glad that you liked being a part of the Pinoy blogosphere. To tell you the truth, I felt the exact same feeling when I first made my blog in the blogosphere.

Goodluck to your blog and more power! Happy blogging!

Yes I visited Kirsty's website and she's very transparent about how she does things and sometimes it got her in trouble. It's worth mentioning that she used to be a website designer and she still is and has been in it for a long time before blogging even existed so it takes a while before one hits the 1000 mark. But yes, I admit it and she does too that she can't explain really the occasional bursts of her income. Can it be pure luck? But I think she did not mention exactly how much time she spent creating accounts in the various moneymaking sites she mentioned and having them setup / configured. Many of those sites she mentioned also look for pagerank and also the age of the blog (how many months it has been running and the number of posts)

Forget about that blog scraper.. I think he is also giving you free links too? But if you are really annoyed just report him to google. I have a Webmaster tools account and I think I found a way to send a message from inside webmaster tools.

Opps...as for Boracay, don't feel bad. I'm a proud ignoramus when it comes to travelling. I'm planning to have a boracay section about the vacation of my sister's family (not mine) in Boracay as I want stuff to be a little on the personal side, hence the title of my blog (might be another site that is still parked at this point). However, with that blog scraper on the lurk, I'll have to learn a few things first.

Last June our 6-week vacation was just spent between working in Fairview Apts and visiting my family in SJDM, Bulacan. Whoever had that kind of vacation?

My comment above was for the HS ones you linked above, but speaking of adsense, I'd been visiting Kirsty's website where she reports her earnings candidly in her earlier posts.

This January she's starting to live off her sites' earnings as she intends to travel to SEA countries. She started from the Philippines and she's on her way to China for the Olympics. Her blog is not technical; it's easy reading-- www.nerdynomads.com -- just can't speak for the actual implementation though.

Aren't they lucky they have that chance at an earlier age? I wasn't that fortunate-sigh!-now I'm closer to losing my memory too. Besides there was that pre-computer generation thing.
